2) I used to do circus myself for a brief period of time---I even included a photo at the end!
3) I made this post even before I knew this would be an official topic because I just wanted to do this topic anyway.
4) Every single book on here came from either books I already own or my TBR because I LOVE CIRCUS BOOKS, so this was a really fun, easy one for me to put together.
5) There are some absolutely gorgeous circus covers out there! And I managed to find a wide range that includes trapeze, silks, fire dancing, animals, wire walking, and even the circus tents themselves.
So now that you are sufficiently versed in why I am so excited, here are the covers!

These are just photos, so not that special, but the second one is interesting, and they’re still pretty photos.
The Man Who Became Frankenstein’s Monster by Robert Daicy
This is such a gorgeous tent, even though it doesn’t have the red and white stripes, and the whole cover is designed so well.

I know this book has been shunned by the blogging community, but it’s still got a beautiful cover!
My Favorite #1:
Girl on a Wire by Gwenda Bond
I couldn’t pick one favorite, so I chose five, in no particular order. I’ve used this one before because the graphics are so catchy and pretty. The second one is a graphic novel about the MC in the book, showing some extra adventures and things.
My Favorite #2:
Pantomime by Laura Lam
This one is so simple and minimalistic but still so gorgeous.
My Favorite #3:
The Fire Dancer by Kristen Strassel
I absolutely LOVE this one. Fire isn’t the most typically circus-y thing there is, but it definitely can be circus, and this art is just amazing.
My Favorite #4:
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
I suppose everyone will have this cover on their list. It’s somewhat minimalistic with so few colors and graphics, but it works so well, and I cannot resist anything that’s black, white, and red! Unfortunately neither one of these is the covers on the US Amazon site, so I’m not sure where to get these particular covers.

Vagabond Circus Series by Sarah Noffke
These are just so pretty and eye-catching, and again the silhouette works so well, especially with the trapeze!

Oh I haven’t heard of a few one those. The first The Night Circus cover is the UK version I have that one and it’s stunning in person. I have no idea why Spectaccolo is being shunned (may need to look into that) but that cover is fave out of your picks.

Darn it, why does the UK get a better version than the US? Lol. The Vagabond covers are amazing, right?! I actually still need to read The Night Circus too lol. I’ve been saying that for so long that I think it’s just become a thing, and I just keep procrastinating. And thanks 🙂 I do miss it, actually, but it makes me happy that I still get to read about it!

Hey, that’s what’s so great about books. If you can’t do something or don’t do something anymore or you can’t go somewhere or whatever then you can always read about it!
I also plan to borrow The Night Circus, and I borrow ebooks which makes it even easier lol, but my TBR keeps piling up too!

Where I used to work we always got a close up view of the circus when it came to town since our building was right behind the arena. I picked That Time as my fave cover but seeing your list I really like Released from the Vagabond books- it looks otherwordly (to me anyway) and I like the moon and the blue/ green. Suspended is nice too and I like Pantomime with the black background.
I like The Immortal Circus covers too (Act One and Final Act- like the green/ black). I haven’t read a lot of books about circuses but I’d like to, I like the idea of strange things going on and circuses being more than they seem. 🙂
That’s awesome about the place you worked! Yeah, those Vagabond books do look otherwordly. And I do love simplistic black or white background ones like Pantomime 🙂 I knew you’d like the third Immortal Circus book cover though lol because of the green. Of course I think we should all read more circus, but, you know, that’s just my little, biased opinion 😛

I plan on adding several of these to my wish list. Great collection. And I love that personal picture! I love watching Pink’s concert because of all her acrobatic moves.
Yay, everyone should read more circus books! Lol. And thanks 🙂 I’ve never seen any of her concerts, but I did see one of her award show performances, I think it might’ve been the first time she included the aerial stuff. I think it’s great that she brings circus into her performances.
The Night Circus on the right is the original hardback. It’s one of the handful of physical books I keep because it’s so pretty. It looks simple like that, but it’s really pretty in person. What a cool picture of you! That’s so cool!

Books with circuses are a favourite of mine. So many unread ones here. I did enjoy the Night circus. You left out one btw- The Gracekeepers by Kristy Logan. Take a look if you havent already read it

This topic is perfect for you indeed with your love for circus. I never realized how many circus covers are out there as I haven’t read a lot of circus books myself, I can only think of one I read and at the moment and one that’s on my to-read list. The one of my to read list is Menagerie by Rachel Vincent, I like the cover for that one too, it’s very simply, but I like it.
The cover for That Time I joined the Circus is so pretty and magical and I really like the colours and feel of that one. The one for the Fire Dancer is great too, although t had a bit less of the traditional circus feel. I think the Vagabond Circus covers are my favourite too with the bold colour combination and they have that typical circus feel!
And I still think it’s cool you were part of a circus once!

The cover for That Time does have a great feel. And the Fire Dancer one is not traditional circus, but fire acts can definitely be considered circus. (And GAH I want that book so badly so that I can own the cover lol.) But the Vagabond ones are traditional and pretty!
