Cover Love: Book Covers with Fall Vibes

Ok, fine, to be honest, I mostly just found books with sorta orange color palettes. That counts as fall vibes, right? At least one of these has leaves on it, so that’s something 😅 Anyway, most of these probably aren’t fall-themed books (I’ve read most of them, I just don’t remember what season they’re set in), but they still have pretty covers!

Life of Melody by Mari Costa

This one is so cute! (As is the story.) And the orange ground definitely makes me think of fall leaves.

Cloaked in Shadow by Ben Alderson

Look, there are red and orange leaves in this one! Also it’s just a gorgeous cover.

The Mourning Dove and His Snow Sparrow by Eve Healy

I think this one takes place in winter, but the orange wings and the little orange flowers floating by in the breeze just makes me think of fall. And the art is so pretty.

Before We Disappaer by Shaun David Hutchinson

Again, just a lovely color palette and lovely art.

Can I Pet Your Werewolf by Various Authors

I think my mind just associates werewolves with fall. Maybe because of Halloween? I don’t know, but when I think werewolf—just the quintessential werewolf howling at the full moon moment—I think fall. Also this cover is cute.

The Wolf and the Woodsman by Ava Reid

I think I associate forests with fall too. Even though logically I know forests exist in all seasons. But the forest combined with these colors gives me fall vibes.

With a Vengeance by Freydis Moon

Orange and black, Halloween colors! And once again, just another gorgeous cover.

The Fall by Tracy Townsend

This one even has the word “fall” in the title! Which admittedly has nothing to do with the season, I just thought that was a fun coincidence. It also lots of red, orange, and brown, plus nice art of a sort of creepy creature.

A Triad in Three Acts by Blaine D. Arden

This one does appear to have some changing leaves on the trees, which, apparently, is the main thing I associate with fall, despite living in a place where the leaves don’t change.

Confetti Realms by Nadia Shammas, Karnessa, Hackto Oshiro, and Micah Meyers

In addition to being such a pretty cover with immaculate fall vibes, this one actually does take place not only in the fall but specifically on Halloween night!

I always read your cover posts because you have such a great talent for finding fantastic books. These are gorgeous. The werewolves on Can I Pet Your Werewolf even look like leaves. My favourite has to be The Mourning Dove. It’s not a style I would usually like, but the artwork is just so pretty.
