Book Review: A Little Lie by Max Turner

Awen and Brock are both lonely fae in the human world, and both are drawn to each other when they see each other across the club they're at. Going home together doesn't go quite as planned, but the connection they have could lead to something even better.

These two were adorable! And their fumbling awkwardness with each other was even more adorable. This was a sweet and steamy romance with feelings I found surprisingly believable for how fast they happened. I could feel that they were drawn to each other, and they didn’t do any too extreme feelings confessions.

There was also some family cuteness. And a touch of Christmas (mostly just that’s when it takes place). And fae. And magic. Though there were some heavier backstory things mentioned, the vibe overall was light and sweet.

I enjoyed this, it made me smile.
