Asagi is a slave, just sold to a new master, when they meet a young boy named Tsukito with whom they form a familial, protective bond. But soon after, Asagi is sold again, into a better life, but the price they pay, both in becoming a blood-drinking youkai and leaving behind Tsukito, is a high one for them to bear.
