Review:
This was so funny and cute with just the right balance of fun silliness and angsty emotion! I laughed. I frowned. I awww-ed. I felt things. And most of all, I just really wanted these two to be together because they were really cute.
I loved their story, angels connected with “twin flames” in their souls, meant to be together, but Nathaniel avoided and pushed away Chasan for a thousand years because of his own personal struggles and insecurities, even though they both loved each other. It was a really sweet romance.
I also liked how they could feel each others’ emotions because that made it double the emotion and just amplified both the angst and the sweetness.
It was fun and sexy and cute how they had never done any sort of physical intimacy with anyone, being angels and all who only did that sort of thing while in human form, so they got to explore that together.
The audiobook narration by Nick J. Russo was great! When characters whispered or laughed or broke off mid-word or sobbed, he made sure to bring that through and portray it. He captured the emotion and the personality of the characters and made them easy to distinguish. And his style of narration just suited the story perfectly. It was a very enjoyable audiobook performance.
Overall this was a fun, funny, angsty, sweet, sexy, cute romance with lovable characters!

Anyone who likes funny books, emotional but sweet and cute romance, angels (the kind who help humans, not the kind who fight), and sweet characters.
Sounds fun! I don’t think I’ve read any books with angels. Seems like a lotta potential there story- wise. Glad the narration was great too- I bet that’s hard to get right at times.
I’ve read a few! It’s always great to find a really good narrator who really performs!
