← Back to the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Books With Disability Masterlist // Genre: Sci-Fi/Fantasy

Representation of physical disabilities is hard to find, especially in sci-fi/fantasy, so my goal is to make a list containing as many sci-fi/fantasy books with physically disabled and chronically ill characters as possible. If you have a book to add, the best way to let me know is to fill out this form! (Sorry if it takes me a while to add new books sometimes!)

List below can be filtered by genre, character, or disability. You can also check this list of all disability tags. If you’re looking for a specific book, it should come up if you use the blog search in the sidebar.

Since I have not read all of these books myself, I cannot guarantee that all the information is correct. I also cannot promise that these books have good representation of disability. If you find incorrect info, if I’ve used incorrect language in relation to a disability, etc., feel free to email me to let me know!

You can find my reviews for books that include disability (both physical and mental illness) here.

Hi! I’m Kit, a blogger who loves reading, writing, and rambling. (I also love making art, playing The Sims and various other games, nighttime, and the color red, but that kinda kills the alliteration.)

If you want to know more about me and my blog, here’s my about page. Otherwise, stick around for sci-fi/fantasy/paranormal book and game reviews, recommendations, discussions, and more. I look forward to getting to know my fellow readers, gamers, and SFF lovers!
