Update: Life and Books (Dec 2022) + Final Art of the Year

Update: Life and Books (Dec 2022) + Final Art of the Year

I made art! I have to excitedly announce it every time because it happens so rarely anymore. Last year I drew Rudolph the reindeer centaur, so this year I drew Cupid. He has albinism, which is why his hair, brows, lashes, skin, fur, hooves, and antlers are all light. I couldn't find a definitive answer on whether albino reindeer have lighter antlers though. I might still work on it some more, but...

Update: Life and Books (Dec 2021) + Last Art of the Year!

Happy New Year, everyone! I don't know why I said that with so much enthusiasm. I don't actually feel enthusiastic about it. But it's still a new year, regardless of how I feel, so *shrug* I managed to squeeze in one last finished art piece though, and I am enthusiastic about that! It's Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Centaur! (His nose gets cold.) (Also technically he's a cervitaur.) I'm...

Quick Reviews: The Remaking of Corbin Wale // My Christmas Spirit // Christmas Spirit // The Vet’s Christmas Familiar // A Christmas Carriage Ride

I've got some more holiday book reviews! I know, I know, I've done a lot of Christmas posts this year, and I might still do one or two more quick reviews, but I'll be getting back to the usual stuff soon. Anyway, most of these are about Christmas, but one is more about general holidays with a bit of Hanukkah. Most are m/m. One is a collection of short stories. And yes, two have the words...

Update: Life and Books (Dec 2020)

Happy New Year! Not that it's really all that happy, but standard phrases and all that. I kind of took my time getting around to this update because of headaches and general feelings of meh. As to what I've been up to for the past month, mostly just a lot of reading. (Well, listening, but you get it.) No new games or podcasts or even movies/shows, I don't think. Didn't do anything for the...

Book Recs: 10 Christmas-Themed Sci-Fi/Fantasy Books (2)

A few years ago, I did a post about Christmas-themed sci-fi/fantasy books, and each year around the holidays, it's one of my most visited posts. It seems people want more SFF Christmas books, so I'm back with more book suggestions for the holiday season! Once again, a quick reminder, I didn't personally love all of these, but everyone has different taste! So I still wanted to give them some...

His attempt to fail his demon summoning class goes horribly awry when not only does he summon a demon, he summons one who is a powerful mage and gets pulled through the void to Demonside. The Weekly Update: 3/12/17

The Weekly Update: 3/12/17

Another week with no news. Since I'm going to be moving in a couple months, I'm just trying to figure out stuff that I need to figure out and getting anything that I don't actually need right now packed up ahead of time on days that I have the energy. Which is no day, to be honest, because I've been even more exhausted than usual lately. I've also had a really hard time concentrating, so I've...
