But I still want to read something.
It's like being hungry and knowing you want food but not knowing what you want to eat. Does this book thing ever happen to anyone else? All part of the life of a bookworm I suppose...
Star Wars Rebels and Gravity Falls are Back!
Unfortunately I’m already falling behind because I have to wait for them to be available online. I’m actually not a big Star Wars fan, but the characters on this show sucked me in. I even bought A New Dawn: Star Wars while it was on sale because I couldn’t pass up the chance for more Kanera (Kanan + Hera) 😛
Books I Finished
Only three this week, which doesn’t seem bad, but I could’ve finished more if I hadn’t spent two days sitting around simply wondering what to read next.
Song of the Week:
“Fire and the Flood” by Vance Joy
In Case You Missed It:
Cover Characteristics: Book Covers featuring TVs
Reading Bites: The 2015 Reading Bites Challenge (or a Post in Which I Share My Love of Vampire Books)
5 Star Book Review: Chase the Dark (Steel & Stone Book 1) by Annette Marie
4.5 Star Book Review: Bind the Soul (Steel & Stone Book 2) by Annette Marie
4 Star Book Review: Yield the Night (Steel & Stone Book 3) by Annette Marie
3 Star Book Review: Feed the Flames (Steel & Stone Book 3.5) by Annette Marie
4 Star Book Review: Reap the Shadows (Steel & Stone Book 4) by Annette Marie
Sometimes I do feel like that! As a blogger, I often feel like I always need to be reading SOMETHING, but sometimes I just have to take a break from reading so I can get excited about it again. I think 3 books in a week is amazing because I’m lucky if I can finish just one!
Well, this is more like I don’t want a break but just can’t figure out what to read lol. But I do know what you’re talking about because there are also times I get kind of exhausted from reading and do just need a break to let my mind clear for a few days or so. And thanks! I keep seeing all these other bloggers who read SOOOOO many more books, and it’s making me feel like my numbers are not up to par lol, but I’m trying not to worry about it because the whole point of reading is that it’s enjoyable, and it isn’t enjoyable unless you read at the pace you’re comfortable with, you know?
