Review:
The romance has finally made some progress (not complaining, I didn’t mind the wait, I like a slow-burn), though this was less about the romance, more about bigger things—shifter politics, community, etc.
The teens in this series really feel like teens, they sometimes make rash decisions, they’re very idealistic, they don’t always know how to do everything perfectly right away, they make mistakes in their relationships, but they’re likeable and they’re learning. (Not that adults don’t do these things too, but you probably get what I mean. We learn and grow and handle things differently with experience, so people who don’t have experience yet have to figure things out more.)
I’m running out of specific things to say about each book, but I’m sort of stuck now since I’ve reviewed the first two and have to write something 😅 It’s a good series though, I’m enjoying it!
