Review:
This was the last book in the trilogy, and it was, once again, attention-grabbing and fun!
Sterling has been such a fun and lovable character. There was even a little more insight into him this time.
All the other characters were lovable too. Especially Vilmas, I love that weirdo. And that scene with the hunters… yeah, saw that coming. I mean, didn’t see quite THAT. That was really something. But the vampire is flippant about danger precisely because he knows he can take care of himself. And Roth was a sweetheart! His wanting a hug moment was really cute.
The story was also enjoyable. Some fighting, some supernatural mystery, and everything wrapped up well enough in the end.
The audiobook, narrated by Nick Podehl, was fantastic again! He really brought the characters to life.
Overall, a snappy and very readable/listenable series with lots of supernaturals and fun, lovable characters, and this was a sweet ending!
