Is it just me, or are book covers getting better? I have SO many this year.
These aren’t in any order. I tried to group them together by similar art styles or color, just for a nice aesthetic. And I chose a few to talk about, but I couldn’t talk about them all because I’d just be repeating how pretty everything is a million times. And most of them aren’t just great art, they’re also great text and design all around!
So here you go, enjoy!
*If you’re considering buying any of these books from Amazon US, I’d appreciate it if you use my affiliate link! It will help support this blog at no additional cost to you!*
*I tried to credit the cover artists and designers, but I don’t own most of these (library borrows, ARCs), so if they weren’t listed in the front in the Amazon preview or in a cover reveal post, I couldn’t find the info.*

I didn’t read this one this year, but I did buy this copy of it, and I wanted to share it because I really love it! It’s gorgeous art and also much closer to how the monster is described than most depictions of him.
Tasmanian Gothic by Mikhaeyla Kopievsky (Cover by Ethan Scott)
Fantastic art, and also just so eye-catching with the colors and the boldness and the gorgeous wings and the font!
My Review
Tentacles & Triathlons by Ashley Bennett (Cover by Alex Conkins)
The art style is so fun, it has such an adorable vibe, and I especially love the colors!
The Ghost Variations by Kevin Brockmeier (Cover by Kelly Blair)
This is different from my usual “type” when it comes to covers, but I really love it! It’s eye-catching, the art style of the little individual pictures is cute, and it’s so perfect for the book since the book has a whole bunch of very short stories, and these little pictures are references to them.
A Taste of Iron and Gold by Alexandra Rowland (Cover by Martina Fackova)
This artist is the same one who made the vampire art I bought for my bookshelf. This cover is just absolutely beautiful and incredible art, and it really captures the adoration vibes of the romance.
Oak King Holly King // Tales from Blackthorn Briar by Sebastian Nothwell (Cover by ThistleArts, Sleepy Fox Studio)
These are just gorgeous and so perfectly capture the characters and the lovely, gentle romance in the story!

Glad you like them too XD
Some covers are great. I really like some of these.
Merry Christmas. I hope you have a lovely day.
Thanks, Merry Christmas to you too!
There are some amazing covers now. Chupeco’s really makes you want to look closer, and the third one has an almost art deco type vibe. The 6th one I like lots too.
The Brockmeier one I like because for some reason I seem to like covers with a lot of icons or whatever on them. And that last one has an idyllic vibe.
Hope you had a nice Christmas.
I didn’t even notice all the little drawings and details in the Chupeco one at first, so yeah. Pyre definitely looks Art Deco, I think it was set in that era. The last books have a sort of idyllic feel, so the covers are perfect!
Oh wow, they ARE gorgeous covers!!
I specially likes Silver under Nightfall and colors like on Reverie’s cover!
Right?! Reverie does have great colors and and it’s one those books I read because it was pretty lol.
Wow! All of these covers look awesome! I especially love the cover to Reverie!
I’m glad you loved them too! I wasn’t even gonna read Reverie, and then I saw that new cover and decided to try it lol.
All of these books have really interesting covers.
Covers are not what gets me to read a book.
I can’t help myself, I get pulled in by good covers sometimes, as long as the story also sounds somewhat good!
I love seeing cover wrap-ups! These are stunning and so colourful
Right? So fun to look at!
